DIY before DIY was everywhere. We asked people at the agency to film a portion of their trips home for Thanksgiving using their smart phones. We cut the footage together and made a 1:45 holiday film for the web. Very quickly, it got over 1 million views. We then created a :60 cut-down that aired during the NFL playoffs, exposing the agency-made-and-produced film to some 30 million more people. Remarkably, from that point on, The Road Home became BMW's signature year-end sales event and it's still going 13 years later.
